Senior Data Scientist

Job requirements

Experience Range: 5 to 8 years of experience in data science, including substantial hands-on work with Microsoft Azure Privileged Identity Management and privileged access management solutions Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement advanced data science models to optimize privileged access management within Microsoft Azure environments
Develop and maintain analytics dashboards to monitor and report on privileged access activities, ensuring compliance and security standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Azure PIM solutions with organizational data workflows
Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, anomalies, and risks related to privileged access, providing actionable insights
Configure, manage, and optimize Azure PIM policies to enhance security and operational efficiency
Automate data processing and reporting tasks using scripting and Azure-native tools
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to privileged access management, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum security
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in privileged access management and Microsoft Azure

Required Skills:

Microsoft Azure Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
Microsoft Azure Active Directory administration
Azure Data Factory
Azure Databricks
Power BI or similar data visualization tools
Python or R for data analysis and automation
SQL and NoSQL database management
Implementation of security and compliance controls in Azure
Statistical modeling for access risk analysis

Preferred Skills:

Experience with machine learning algorithms for security threat detection
Expertise in Azure Sentinel or other SIEM platforms
Knowledge of automation tools such as Terraform or Azure ARM templates
Familiarity with REST APIs and integration with external data sources
Experience with cloud governance and policy management
Certification in advanced Azure security solutions

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline
Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
Certification in Privileged Access Management or cloud security (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional - CISSP, or equivalent)
