Curious about the role What your typical day would look like
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist/Lead Data Scientist with strong Data Engineering expertise to build and scale enterprise-grade GenAI solutions. This role requires deep hands-on experience in LLMs, RAG architectures, and GenAI frameworks, along with solid capabilities in Python, PySpark, cloud data platforms, and large-scale data pipelines.
The candidate will lead development of GenAI use cases, design data flows that support AI systems, and contribute to solution architecture and production deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end Generative AI solutions using LLMs and GenAI frameworks
- Build and optimize RAG pipelines, embedding workflows, and vector search integrations
- Lead development of LLM-powered applications and AI services
- Translate business problems into scalable GenAI + data solutions
- Design and build robust data ingestion, transformation, and modeling pipelines in cloud platforms
- Use Python and PySpark for large-scale data and AI processing
- Integrate GenAI systems with enterprise data sources and APIs
- Guide best practices for prompt design, evaluation, and LLMOps
- Contribute to solution design, performance tuning, and production readiness
- Mentor junior team members and support technical decision-making
Required Skills - Primary (GenAI)
- 3+ years hands-on experience in Generative AI / LLM-based solution development
- Strong experience building RAG-based systems
- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar orchestration frameworks
- Experience working with LLM APIs (OpenAI / Azure OpenAI / open-source models)
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering and evaluation techniques
- Experience with embeddings and vector databases
- Experience deploying GenAI solutions into production
Required Skills - Supporting (Data Engineering)
- Strong programming expertise in Python
- Hands-on experience with PySpark / Spark
- Proven experience building data pipelines at scale
- Experience in data ingestion, transformation, and data modeling
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Strong SQL and distributed data processing knowledge
- Experience handling large structured and unstructured datasets
Good to Have
- Experience with fine-tuning or model adaptation
- Exposure to LLMOps / MLOps practices
- Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, ADF, Glue, etc.)
- Knowledge of microservices or API-based deployment
- Prior experience in solution design or technical leadership
