Senior Data Scientist

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Scientist (Grade C2 / C3A) with 8 to 10+ years of experience to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced machine learning solutions. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex research and production-ready software. You will be responsible for rapidly building functional prototypes, optimizing algorithms, and deploying scalable ML models to the cloud.

The ideal candidate is a blend of a rigorous data scientist and a strong software engineer, possessing deep expertise in time-series analysis, computer vision, and modern cloud architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Rapid Prototyping: Accelerate the development cycle by building end-to-end prototypes, data processing pipelines, and interactive visualization tools using Python.
• Advanced Modeling: Design, train, and evaluate sophisticated ML models covering supervised learning, unsupervised learning, anomaly detection, and deep neural networks.
• Time Series & Vision Expertise: Lead initiatives requiring advanced Time Series Analysis/Forecasting and Computer Vision applications.
• Cloud Deployment: Architect and deploy robust, scalable machine learning models in production environments using AWS and Amazon SageMaker.
• Interactive App Development: Build intuitive internal tools, dashboards, and data applications using Streamlit, Dash, and rsconnect to showcase insights to stakeholders.
• Optimization: Apply algorithmic and computational optimization techniques to improve model performance, training efficiency, and inference latency.
• Software Engineering Excellence: Write clean, maintainable, and production-grade Python code, adhering to software engineering best practices (CI/CD, version control, testing).

Required Technical Skills & Qualifications

Experience & Education

• 8–10+ years of professional experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Predictive Analytics.
• Strong alignment with senior-level responsibilities (equivalent to C2 / C3A grading bands).
