We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist who can own complex data problems end-to-end and influence product and business decisions through insights, experimentation, and modelling. You will partner closely with product, engineering, and leadership teams to shape strategy using data. This role is ideal for someone who has moved beyond reporting and can drive decisions, mentor junior members, and build scalable data practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end analysis of large, complex datasets to generate actionable business insights.
- Partner with product managers to define success metrics, KPIs, and north-star metrics.
- Design and analyze A/B tests, experiments, and feature rollouts.
- Build and maintain advanced dashboards for leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Develop predictive models, segmentation, and user behavior models.
- Identify growth, engagement, retention, and monetization opportunities.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and best practices across teams.
- Mentor junior data scientists and analysts.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of hands-on experience in data science/product analytics roles.
- Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
- Excellent knowledge of SQL and working with large datasets.
- Strong foundation in statistics, probability, and experimentation.
- Experience with A/B testing frameworks and experimental design.
- Proven ability to influence product decisions with data.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with model orchestration, rigorous evaluation practices, and end-to-end productionization of machine learning systems.
- Familiarity with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker, Kubernetes) for seamless model deployment and monitoring.
Good To Have
- Experience with machine learning models (classification, regression, clustering).
- Exposure to recommendation systems or personalization.
- Familiarity with big data tools (Spark, BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake).
- Experience with consumer internet/media/gaming platforms.
- Knowledge of data modeling and warehousing concepts.
