Insight Global are seeking a Sr Data Management Analyst to join a large, global financial services organisation undergoing a major digital transformation programme. The team is building a new Centre of Excellence focused on modernising data workflows, enhancing data quality, and migrating legacy systems into a nextgeneration data platform.
This position requires 2 days onsite (Monday & Tuesday) in Bangalore, India for an 18month contract.
As part of the Ratings Platform Development team, this role supports the design and adoption of modern data processes and workflows that will scale across the organisation globally. The successful candidate will partner with product teams, technology, data owners, process teams, and UX groups to harmonise data requirements, streamline data usage, and support the creation of a fully modernised data ecosystem.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting in the development of harmonised data requirements across key product workflows
- Supporting the definition of data concepts, reference data and effective data usage practices
- Partnering with technology and data teams to support modern database structures, data migration, and data governance activities
- Collaborating with business partners to identify required data and map endtoend data lineage
- Identifying, cleansing, validating and migrating data from legacy systems to modern infrastructures
- Supporting the development and monitoring of KPIs for data processes and data quality
- Contributing to consistent frameworks for managing data change across the organisation
- Using SQL to extract, analyse and assess data
- Reviewing datasets to identify patterns, recommend normalisation/standardisation, and provide insights
MustHave Requirements Include:
- Strong background in data management and data transformation
- Hands-on experience with data migration activities
- Experience with Master Data Management and Data Governance tools (e.g., Collibra)
- Proficiency in SQL
- Financial services experience
- Understanding of database structures, data lineage, data governance reporting
- Experience gathering and interpreting data requirements from end users
- Ability to communicate complex data concepts clearly and simply
