We are hiring an on-site Senior Data Engineer based in India to design, build, and operate scalable, secure data pipelines and platforms that enable data-driven HR solutions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate robust ETL/ELT pipelines and batch/streaming workflows to ingest, transform, and deliver HR and operational data into analytics and ML-ready stores.
- Implement scalable Spark-based data processing on Databricks or equivalent platforms, optimising performance, cost, and resource utilisation.
- Author and maintain orchestration using Apache Airflow (or similar), ensuring SLA-driven job scheduling, retries, and alerting.
- Drive data quality, schema management, and lineage practices; implement monitoring, observability, and automated validations for production pipelines.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, Product, and Engineering teams to translate analytical requirements into reliable data models and API-ready datasets.
- Define and enforce engineering best practicesCI/CD for data, infrastructure-as-code, Git-based development, and runbook-driven incident response.
