Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data warehousing solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern cloud data technologies and visualization tools and will play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake and Azure Data Fabric.
• Perform advanced data cleaning, transformation, and integration using Python.
• Develop and optimize data models for data warehousing to support analytics and reporting.
• Create interactive and insightful dashboards and reports in PowerBI for business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data analysts, business teams, and other engineers to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security across the data lifecycle.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve existing data processes for performance and reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering with strong ETL and data warehousing concepts.
• Proficient in Snowflake (architecture, SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning).
• Experience with Azure Data Fabric for data integration and orchestration.
• Strong Python programming skills, especially for data cleaning, transformation, and pipeline automation.
• Expertise in building and maintaining PowerBI dashboards and reports.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and modern data architecture.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be comfortable working in UK business hours.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of other Azure services (Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Blob Storage).
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD for data pipelines.
• Experience in agile methodologies and working with cross-functional teams.
