Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL / ELT data pipelines
- Work with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver data solutions
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models
- Implement data integration using AWS services (S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, RDS)
- Collaborate with analysts and business users to enable Tableau dashboards and reports
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency through validation and monitoring
- Automate workflows and data checks using Python scripting
- Support data governance, documentation, and compliance standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering
- Strong expertise in SQL
- Proficiency in Python
- Solid experience with AWS cloud ecosystem
- Hands-on experience with Tableau for data visualization
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL patterns
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Good to Have:
- Experience with Airflow or workflow orchestration tools
- Exposure to Snowflake, Athena, or Data Lake architectures
- Knowledge of API integration and streaming tools (Kafka, Kinesis)
- Understanding of CI/CD, Git, and DevOps practices
