Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our data team and play a key role in building the next generation of property technology solutions.

In this role, you will design and develop robust data pipelines, enabling seamless data flow and supporting business-critical insights. You will work closely with Data Analysts to ensure high-quality, structured data is delivered into Power BI dashboards that support decision-making for property professionals worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Pipeline Development

  • Design and build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks
  • Work with in-house C# orchestration systems to manage data workflows

2. Data Architecture & Storage

  • Develop and maintain data lakes and data warehouses using Azure Synapse and SQL
  • Manage large-scale property datasets efficiently

3. Development & Collaboration

  • Contribute high-quality C# code to shared repositories
  • Participate in code reviews and follow best development practices
  • Work collaboratively within cross-functional teams

4. Data Integration

  • Integrate multiple data sources using APIs, Dataverse, and other connectors
  • Ensure smooth and reliable data ingestion across platforms

5. Business Intelligence Enablement

  • Structure and optimise data for Power BI dashboards
  • Support analytics and reporting requirements for business growth

Skills & Requirements

Essential

  • Strong C# skills with 3+ years of backend development or data orchestration experience
  • Advanced SQL knowledge, including performance optimisation and complex queries
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory and Databricks (or similar cloud platforms)
  • Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data modelling, and transformation patterns
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative development workflows
  • Hands-on experience with APIs, ODBC, and multiple data sources

Preferred

  • Experience with Python or other secondary languages for advanced data transformations
  • Familiarity with Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, or Microsoft Fabric
  • Knowledge of Dataverse and Power Platform
  • Understanding of data governance and security practices
  • Experience in the property or real estate industry
