Responsibilities
- 8+ years in Data Engineering - who can drive independently and takes responsibilities.
- Strong in SQL, Stored Procedures, Snowflake/Databricks, Strong Python.
- Azure, Snowflake or data bricks knowledge, data migration, Python (knowledge), Pyspark, SQL , stored procedures, data governance, data architecture, stakeholder management, including problem solving and critical thinking.
- Writes complex queries including window functions, CTEs, and subqueries.
- Able to analyse and debug SQL logic inside views or stored procedures.
- Understands the logical order of SQL execution and how transformations are applied step-by-step.
- Can identify data issues caused by joins, filters, or aggregations.
- Develops scalable PySpark jobs for data pipelines.
- Understands distributed processing concepts (partitions, shuffles). Writes modular, reusable code and understands performance implications.
- Independently investigates pipeline failures or data inconsistencies.
- Able to trace issues across multiple systems and propose solutions - Influence & Assertive Communication:
- Must possess the communication clarity required to lead global discussions, ensuring they can challenge assumptions, drive consensus, and translate complex dialogue into actionable strategy
