Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our growing team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and managing data pipelines and will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and scalability of our data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality datasets.
• Optimize and tune existing data processing workflows for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Implement data governance and quality assurance measures to ensure data integrity.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution of issues.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Experience with data warehousing solutions and tools (e.g., Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery).
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services.
• Understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance principles.
