About Position:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in AWS data services, SQL, Apache Airflow, and Data Warehousing technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data platforms and data pipelines that support enterprise analytics and business intelligence initiatives. This role requires deep technical expertise in AWS Redshift, AWS Glue, Amazon S3, workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow, and advanced SQL development. The successful candidate will play a key role in building reliable, secure, and high-performance data solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven business outcomes.

What You'll Do:
- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using AWS Redshift, AWS Glue, and Amazon S3.
- Design and implement modern data warehousing solutions to support enterprise reporting and analytics needs.
- Develop and manage workflow orchestration and scheduling processes using Apache Airflow.
- Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for data transformation, integration, reporting, and analytics.
- Build reliable, scalable, and high-performance data engineering solutions.
- Design ETL/ELT pipelines for processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, security, governance, and availability across enterprise platforms.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, workflows, and platform-related issues.
- Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Architects, and Business Stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Participate in architecture discussions, solution design reviews, and technical planning activities.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices.
- Optimize data processing performance and support capacity planning initiatives.
- Support CI/CD implementation and automated deployment processes for data engineering workflows.
- Assist with Power BI integration and reporting requirements when needed.
- Maintain technical documentation, data flow diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement and modernization initiatives across data platforms.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- 8 to 13 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Data Platform Development.
- Expert-level hands-on experience with AWS Redshift, AWS Glue, Amazon S3.
- Strong proficiency in Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration, scheduling, monitoring, and dependency management.
- Expert-level SQL skills including Complex query development, Query optimization, Data transformation, Performance tuning, Data analysis.
- Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and enterprise data platforms.
- Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, data modeling, and dimensional modeling techniques.
- Experience with ETL/ELT design, implementation, and optimization.
- Strong understanding of data quality, data governance, data security, and compliance practices.
- Experience troubleshooting and optimizing large-scale data processing workloads.
- Hands-on involvement in code reviews, architecture discussions, and performance tuning initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile and enterprise delivery environments.
