Senior Data Engineer

About Position:

A highly skilled Data Engineering professional with 6 to 8 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data solutions. Proven ability to work across the full software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to deployment and support. Adept at working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Brings strong expertise in cloud platforms, big data technologies, and data integration tools, with a keen interest in the healthcare domain and emerging AI accelerators.

What You'll Do:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical design documents.
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and maintainability of data applications.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Provide application support and demonstrate flexibility in working hours when required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and adopt emerging technologies.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and PySpark.
• Proficiency in working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with Snowflake, DataStage, or SSIS.
• Familiarity with the Healthcare domain and its data standards.
• Quick adaptability to AI tools and accelerators.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
