We are actively looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with strong Azure Data Engineering expertise and excellent communication skills for a long-term project with Sutherland & Charles River Laboratories.

Location: Remote

Duration: 2 Years+

Candidates with Clinical / Laboratory / Healthcare / Pharmaceutical / Animal Clinical experience will be strongly preferred and can significantly increase interview chances.

Required Experience:

7+ years in ETL design, development & performance tuning using Microsoft Stack

Strong SQL expertise (PL/SQL, T-SQL)

Enterprise Data & Analytics architecture experience

Python programming experience

Hands-on Azure Data Engineering experience including:

• Azure Data Factory
• Azure Databricks
• Azure Data Lake Gen2
• Azure SQL Database
• Cosmos DB
• Blob Storage
• Logic Apps
• Azure Functions

Experience with Data Warehousing, Big Data, Data Security & Governance

Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills

Preferred Skills:

• CI/CD & DevOps
• REST API integrations
• AI/ML solutions
• Spark Streaming / Event Hubs
• Agile environments (Jira / Azure DevOps)
• Life Sciences analytics experience
