We at Verdantas, looking for Senior Data Engineer to join our team.

The Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and systems that ensure reliable data availability and quality for analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise

• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python1 2.
• Experience with distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Flink) 1.
• Familiarity with cloud data ecosystems (Azure).
• Experience working with ETL/ELT orchestration tools.
• Experience working with Data Migration.
• Understanding of data modeling, metadata management, and governance.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or equivalent.
• Typically, 5-9 years of hands-on data engineering experience (depending on level).

Preferred Certifications

• Google Professional Data Engineer
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
• AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty
