We're Hiring: Senior Data Engineer - Microsoft Fabric / MSBI (Freelance / Contract)

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design and build production-grade data platforms and ETL solutions for enterprise clients.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who can take data solutions from requirements → architecture → development → production → scale.

What you'll build

You will work on real-world enterprise data systems including:

Microsoft Fabric data engineering solutions
ETL / ELT pipelines for enterprise data integration
Fabric Lakehouse and Data Warehouse solutions
Data Pipelines and Dataflows Gen2
OneLake-based data architectures
SSIS-based ETL solutions and MSBI workloads
Azure Data Factory pipelines and integrations
SQL Server data models, transformations, and stored procedures
Dimensional models and enterprise data warehouses
Batch and incremental data processing workflows
Power BI-ready datasets and analytics data models
End-to-end production data platforms including monitoring, optimization, and maintenance

What we're looking for

Strong hands-on experience with:

Microsoft Fabric
ETL / ELT and Data Engineering
MSBI, especially SSIS and SQL Server
Azure Data Factory
T-SQL and complex SQL development
Data Warehousing and Dimensional Modelling
Fabric Lakehouse / Warehouse
OneLake
Data Pipelines and Dataflows Gen2
Data integration across multiple enterprise systems
Production deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization

Bonus: Experience with:

PySpark / Apache Spark
Azure Databricks
Azure Synapse Analytics
Power BI
Delta Lake
Medallion Architecture
SSRS / SSAS
CI/CD, Git, and Azure DevOps
Migrating legacy MSBI / SSIS workloads to Microsoft Fabric or Azure
