We are seeking a skilled Data Migration Developer to facilitate the migration of data from Oracle databases to Salesforce. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management and ETL processes, with a focus on ensuring data integrity and seamless transition.
Key Responsibilities:
. Analyze the existing Oracle database structure and data.
. Design and implement effective data mapping and transformation strategies to align with the requirements.
. Develop processes to extract, transform, and load data from Oracle to Salesforce using industry-standard tools.
. Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the migration process.
. Validate and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of migrated data.
. Perform data mapping, transformation, and cleansing to align with target system requirements.
. Monitor and troubleshoot migration processes, resolving issues in a timely manner.
. Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and administrators to understand data requirements.
. Document migration procedures, processes, and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
. 5+ years of experience in data migration or similar roles.
. Strong proficiency in Oracle database technologies (SQL, PL/SQL).
. Proven experience in ETL tools and data migration processes.
. Experience with data mapping, cleansing, and validation techniques.
. Familiarity with data modeling and schema design principles.
. Ability to analyze and resolve complex data-related issues.
. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred:
. Certification in Oracle Database or related technologies.
. Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
. Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
