Role Overview
This role focuses on designing and implementing enterprise-grade Master Data Management (MDM) solutions using Informatica MDM SaaS. You'll be expected to own data modeling, mastering strategies, and integration patterns—not just execute tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable MDM solutions using Informatica MDM SaaS
- Configure and optimize core MDM capabilities: match/merge rules, survivorship logic, hierarchies, and golden record creation
- Define and enforce data governance, data quality, and mastering standards across domains
- Collaborate with business, data, and engineering teams to identify MDM use cases and translate them into technical solutions
- Evaluate existing data landscapes and drive MDM adoption across enterprise systems
- Build and maintain data pipelines and integrations supporting MDM workflows
- Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of MDM implementations
- Troubleshoot complex data issues and optimize matching/merging accuracy
Required Skills & Experience
- Mandatory: Hands-on experience with Informatica MDM SaaS
- Strong understanding of core MDM concepts: match/merge, survivorship rules, hierarchies, golden records
- Proven experience implementing MDM solutions across multiple enterprise domains (Customer, Product, Vendor, etc.)
- Strong SQL and data engineering fundamentals (data modeling, ETL/ELT, data pipelines)
- Solid understanding of data quality, governance, and stewardship processes
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams in a delivery-driven environment
Good to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Exposure to data integration tools (Informatica IDMC, ETL tools, APIs)
- Understanding of data architecture patterns (data lake, warehouse, lakehouse)
