Senior Data Engineer

We're Hiring Data Engineers (GCP)

Experience: 8-15 Years ( Senior level )

Relevant exp :- 5 yrs and above in GCP Data Engineering.

Location: Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai

NP : Immediate, 30 days and Serving NP.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize large-scale ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Develop robust data solutions using Google Cloud Platform services.
• Build and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration frameworks.
• Implement data quality, governance, and monitoring processes to ensure reliability and accuracy.
• Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technology transformation initiatives.
• Mentor junior team members and foster engineering best practices.
• Participate in Agile development processes and CI/CD implementation.

Required Skills

Strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Hands-on expertise with:

• BigQuery
• Google Cloud Storage (GCS)
• Dataflow
• Pub/Sub
• Cloud Composer / Apache Airflow

Strong programming experience in:

• Python
• SQL

Experience with:

• Data Warehousing concepts and architectures
• Reporting and Analytics platforms
• Data Modeling and Data Governance
• Building scalable and high-performance data pipelines

Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as:

• DBT
• Talend
• Similar data integration tools

Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills

Good-to-Have Skills

• AI/ML and Generative AI exposure
• IAM (Identity & Access Management)
• Cloud Logging and Monitoring
• Terraform, Jenkins, and CI/CD practices
• Client interactions, requirement gathering, and solution design
• Experience creating solution decks, accelerators, and reusable assets
