We are seeking a seasonedSenior Data Engineerto join our dynamic and forward-thinking team. The ideal candidate will bring5+ years of experiencein data engineering, with a demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complexdata platform migrations. This role will play a key part in shaping our real-time data infrastructure and driving our data strategy forward.
Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalablereal-time data pipelines
• LeverageApache Flinkto perform high-performance, advanced stream processing
• Implement and manageApache Kafkafor real-time data ingestion and streaming workflows
• Develop efficient and maintainablePython or Scalacode for data transformation and processing
• Lead and mentor junior data engineers, promoting engineering best practices
• Oversee the migration of existing data platforms with a focus ondata integrityandminimal service disruption
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define data needs and deliver robust, scalable solutions
• Ensure all data solutions adhere todata governanceandquality standardsthroughout their lifecycle

• Experience: 5+ years in data engineering or a related field, with deep expertise inreal-time data processing
• Programming Skills: Proficient inPython or Scalawith a strong understanding of scalable system design
• Data Streaming: Hands-on experience withKafka,Kafka Connect, andApache Flink; familiarity withFlink CDCis a plus
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Working knowledge ofAWS servicessuch asS3, DynamoDB, Kinesis, Kubernetes, Lambda, SageMaker, Glue, and Athena
• Optimization: Experience withperformance tuningof data systems for speed and efficiency
