Role: Lead-Azure Data Engineer

Experience:9-12 Years

Location: Gurgaon / Bangalore / Chennai / Kolkata

• Manage the construction, test, and maintain highly scalable data pipelines while ensuring they meet business requirements and industry practices.
• Merge new data management technologies and software engineering tools into existing structures.
• Monitor performance consistently and implement optimizations, ensuring our data infrastructure operates at peak efficiency.
• Product vendor interaction and ability to apply new concepts and technologies
• Actively partake in the architecture review process.
• 8+ years of experience in Azure Data Engineering technologies.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure data technologies is mandatory including components like Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Delta Lake, Azure ADLS Gen2, Azure DataBricks, Azure Events Hub and Kafka.
• Should have good understanding of ETL / ELT architecture
• Sound knowledge and experience in Python and transformations in Databricks
• Strong programming skills using any flavours of SQL
• Should have understanding of PowerBI and data Visualizations.
• Should have knowledge and experience in PySpark frameworks
• Should have extensive experience in Database design, Continuous Integration and Deployment
• Should have strong knowledge and experience in handling non-functional requirements such as performance, security, load, scaling and usability of applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must
• Ability to learn, contribute and grow in a fast phased environment
• Ability to multi task and work independently.
