About the role

You will own our data platform — the pipelines, the warehouse and the single source of truth — so that every analyst, planner and model in the business runs on data that is clean, on time and trusted.

What you'll do

- Build and maintain BigQuery pipelines: ingestion from marketplaces, our factory and our ERP, with validation, reliability and service levels.

- Own the single source of truth and consistent metric definitions, so one number means one thing across the business.

- Integrate our incoming Odoo ERP and warehouse management system with BigQuery, and support master-data migration and validation.

- Own schemas, data-quality checks and governance so pipelines stay trustworthy after go-live.

- Deliver clean, documented datasets that analysts and planners consume directly, rather than rebuilding data in spreadsheets.

- Provide the data foundation for scenario planning and AI-assisted workflows.

What we're looking for

- 5+ years in data engineering, with production ownership — you build the pipelines and you fix them when they break. This is not a reporting or dashboard role.

- Strong SQL and Python, and hands-on pipeline experience on BigQuery or Google Cloud.

- ETL/ELT and orchestration, data modelling and governance, and real validation discipline.

- Experience integrating ERP or marketplace data is a strong advantage.

- Comfortable partnering with analysts and an ERP programme rather than working in isolation.

- Able to document as you go, so that being the first engineer here doesn't stay a single point of failure.
