Senior Data Engineer

We are hiring a Senior Cloud (GCP) Data Engineer at Manyata Tech Park, Bangalore.

This role involves designing end-to-end solutions and implementing/deploying solutions based on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to enhance operational efficiency and drive digital and Data transformation within the industrial & government sectors.

Exposure and experience in delivering solutions in the GCP cloud platform, including cloud platform sizing, provisioning, designing, developing, and implementing an end-to-end solution focused on Data Lake Engineering and Analytics

Expertise in ETL/ELT development, data modeling (star/snowflake), and scripting with SQL, Python, or Java. Familiarity with Apache Beam, Spark, or Dataproc is a plus.

Proven experience in designing and implementing data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using services like BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.

Google Cloud Professional certifications.

Proficiency in GCP services (e.g., Compute Engine, Data Flow, Air Flow, Big Query, Cloud Storage, Kubernetes, Looker, Vertex AI, Colab, and DevOps), cloud security best practices, and digital transformation methodologies.

Experience in Data Engineering and Data Analytics projects /use cases.

Experience in GCP cloud services delivery as a service partner of Google.

Exposure across other cloud platforms and experience in migration activities.

Experience and understanding of digitalization trends and challenges within the industrial and government sectors.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Knowledge of industry-specific standards and regulations.

Nice to have: Experience in technical pre-sales activities.

Nice to have: Experience in building proposals as part of bid preparation, including solution proposal, solution architecture, sizing, and planning.

Experience

Minimum 3+ years of experience in Cloud Solutions with a focus on GCP.

Experience of minimum 2 end-to-end GCP cloud solution deployment projects covering Cloud / Data migration / Data Pipelines / Infrastructure, etc.

Experience of at least one project related to digitizing and digitalization solutions in the industrial space.

Experience of at least one project related to digitizing and digitalization solutions in the government sector.

Experience in delivering GCP technical services to a minimum of 2 end clients.

Nice to have: Experience in delivering bid proposals for RFQs/RFPs. (minimum of 2)

Education and Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
