Summary:

The team is looking for an experienced MySQL Database Administrator with strong expertise in AWS Aurora MySQL administration, database security governance, scripting, and automation. The resource will be responsible for managing database operations, creating SOPs, automating routine tasks, and supporting global teams.

Responsibilities:

• Administration and management of AWS Aurora MySQL databases
• Database security governance and compliance management
• Development of scripts and automation for database administration tasks
• Creation and maintenance of database SOPs and operational documentation
• Performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization
• Collaboration with global teams and support across different regions when required

Requirements:

• Overall Experience: 8&ndash12 years
• Relevant Experience in MySQL: 6&ndash8 years

Required Skills:

• MySQL Administration (6&ndash8 years of hands-on experience)
• AWS Aurora MySQL
• PostgreSQL
• MongoDB
• Experience building and managing ETL pipelines
• Strong understanding of data workflows and integrations
• Shell Scripting
• Automation of operational and administrative tasks
