L3 Senior Data Center Network Planning & Architecture Engineer

Role Overview
The L3 engineer owns end-to-end TELCO Data Center network planning and architecture, ensuring long-term scalability, standardization, and technology evolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve Cisco ACIbased DC fabric architecture using Nexus 9K.
- Lead multi-year capacity planning, DC buildouts, and technology refresh initiatives.
- Design EVPN/VXLAN, Multi-Pod, and Multi-Site ACI architectures.
- Own routing and segmentation strategy using BGP underlay/overlay.
- Define network standards, reference architectures, and planning guidelines.
- Perform design-level risk analysis and RCA for major incidents.
- Drive automation-ready, repeatable planning frameworks.
- Mentor L1/L2 planners and review HLD / LLD deliverables.
Skills & Qualifications
- Deep expertise in Cisco ACI, NX-OS, and Nexus 9K platforms.
- Proven experience in TELCO-scale DC planning and architecture.
- Strong understanding of 5G Core, Cloud, and carrier workloads.
- Experience with capacity modeling and scalability forecasting.
- Exposure to automation frameworks and ACI APIs is a plus.
- CCIE Data Center / CCNP DC or equivalent strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Networking / Telecommunications.
