Senior Data BI Analyst

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Senior Data BI Analyst to join our Business Intelligence and Data Science team. This key business support function provides the tools for optimal data usage, insights generation, and process optimization. The ideal candidate will be a data expert, collaborating with various business lines to understand their needs and implementing the necessary tools to automate processes and increase data availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Solutions:
• Organize tasks autonomously, ensuring deadlines are met and delivery aligns with objectives.
• Comply with the delivery process, including understanding requirements, implementing solutions, documentation, defining the data model, and performing testing.
• Ensure solutions are tailored to business needs while following general data principles.
• Cover requirements from all data areas and purposes, including business, regulatory, risk, process performance, and data governance.
• Play a consultant role whenever data is involved, providing out-of-the-box solutions.
• Collaboration & Documentation:
• Ensure proper documentation and process standards are fulfilled.
• Provide periodical updates to management on activity and achievements.
• Ensure team communication and cross-training.
• Support data literacy progress across business counterparts and other initiatives.

About You

• Education: An academic background and working level in a related field. A Master's degree in data analytics, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or economics would be an asset.
• Skills:
• Ability to problem-solve data requirements in a clear and methodical way.
• Proven analytical skills to assist the business in reviewing and presenting data professionally.
• Experience in QLIK, Power BI, Python, R, or equivalent BI and data analytics tools.
• Excellent data mining skills and ease in working with data in different formats (Excel, SQL, Access, etc.).
• Good presentation, written, and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of the business, including IT and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong quantitative skills.
• Good project management skills to structure, organize, and plan activities and deadlines for yourself and the team.
• Very good people and interpersonal skills.
• Experience:
• Experience in the financial service industry, consultancy, or an aligned function is preferred.
