Data Architect with Pharma Domain MUST

Location: India – Remote

Availability: Immediate Joiners Preferred (NO Notice Period )

Work Mode: Remote

Screening rule: Pharma domain experience is mandatory. Candidates without relevant Pharma experience should not be shortlisted.

Must-Have Skills:

Strong Data Architecture experience delivering production-grade Lakehouse platforms and creating/defending Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
Hands-on Databricks on AWS – Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows/Delta Live Tables, SQL Warehouse, PySpark and Spark SQL.
Experience migrating OLTP/PostgreSQL sources into a lakehouse, including schema evolution and complex relational/junction-heavy models.
Strong SQL and Python skills; experience with Python-based ETL using tools such as psycopg2/openpyxl.
Production experience with Terraform and CI/CD for data platforms.
Strong data-quality practices including lineage, idempotent loads, reconciliation and deterministic matching.
Experience with vector/semantic search on Databricks, including Databricks Vector Search or migration of pgvector embeddings without re-embedding.

Nice to Have:

Entity resolution / record linkage with confidence scoring and human-in-the-loop confirmation.
Experience serving low-latency operational workloads from a lakehouse.
Life Sciences / Pharma or other regulated-industry experience with audit, compliance and data-retention requirements.
