Job Description

12+ years of experience in SAP BW and SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ).
Strong, hands‑on experience as a SAP BW developer, including:
BW data modeling
Transformations and data flows
Extractor‑based data ingestion
Strong expertise in SAP BW extractors, extracting data from SAP ECC.
Strong hands‑on experience with SAP BOBJ report and universe development.
Good understanding of SAP S/4 HANA data structures for reporting.
Mid‑level experience in SAP ECC development, primarily supporting BW and reporting needs.
Experience working in HR reporting and analytics environments.
Exposure to Azure Databricks for downstream analytics or integration scenarios.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
High attention to data quality and accuracy.
Ability to work independently in a project‑based delivery model.
Good communication skills – written and verbal

Roles And Responsibilities

Work closely with HR business stakeholders to understand reporting, analytics, and data requirements.
Act as a core SAP BW developer, responsible for:
Designing and developing SAP BW objects
Managing data flows and transformations
Supporting enhancements and fixes in BW
Develop and maintain SAP BW extractors to extract data from SAP ECC into SAP BW.
Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using standard and custom BW extractors.
Design, develop, and optimize SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) reports, universes, and reporting layers.
Ensure data accuracy, reconciliation, and consistency between SAP ECC, SAP BW, and BOBJ reports.
Work with SAP S/4 HANA data models to support reporting and analytics requirements.
Provide mid‑level SAP ECC development support, primarily focused on:
Data extraction
Reporting enablement
BW integration needs
Collaborate with data platform teams on integration and analytics workflows involving Azure Databricks.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to:BW data loads and extractorsBOBJ reports and universes
Performance and data inconsistencies
Support UAT cycles, defect resolution, and production support for SAP reporting solutions.
Document BW developments, extractors, and BOBJ report logic to ensure long‑term maintainability.
Follow defined development standards, governance processes, and best practices in SAP analytics.
