Role: Senior Data Architect

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Architect with strong expertise in Data Architecture, Snowflake, ETL, and Kafka to design and deliver scalable, high-performance data solutions.

The ideal candidate will drive data platform optimization, enable batch and near-real-time (NRT) data integration, and ensure platform reliability through effective monitoring, observability, and DevOps best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance data architectures.
• Drive data platform performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and support batch and near-real-time (NRT) data pipelines.
• Design and support Kafka-based streaming and event-driven solutions.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and proactive issue management.
• Lead incident triage, root cause analysis, and production support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong expertise in Data Architecture and Data Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Pentaho Data Integration (PDI), or Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Strong knowledge of Apache Kafka and Event Streaming.
• Expertise in SQL, Advanced SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience in monitoring, observability, incident management, and production support.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and collaboration.
• Exposure to AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Agentic AI, and Model Context Protocol (MCP).

Good to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Exposure to data modernization initiatives.
