Job Title: Analytics Engineer

Experience: 6-8 Years
We are looking for an Senior Analytics Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable analytics data models and transformation workflows. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, governed datasets for analytics and reporting while supporting exploratory and applied analytical use cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Design dimensional models, curated data marts, and semantic datasets for analytics consumption
- Build and maintain transformation workflows using dbt
- Develop and optimize data models in Snowflake or equivalent cloud data warehouses
- Ensure data reliability through testing, validation, and monitoring
- Maintain documentation, lineage, and version control for analytics assets
- Collaborate with analysts and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data models
- Perform exploratory data analysis and develop analytical datasets/features to support downstream modeling initiatives
Required Skills
- Strong SQL proficiency (joins, window functions, optimization, complex transformations)
- Hands-on experience with dbt
- Experience working with Snowflake / BigQuery / Redshift
- Solid understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehousing principles
- Experience with Git/version control and data testing practices
- Understanding of ELT workflows and modern data stack concepts
Preferred / Good to Have
- Python for analysis (pandas, scikit-learn)
- Statistical fundamentals / exploratory analytics experience
- Exposure to BI tools (Tableau / PowerBI / Looker)
- Experience working with orchestration tools (Airflow or similar)
Education
Bachelor's/Master's in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field.
