Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with strong Power BI expertise to lead the development of reporting and analytics solutions for a live project. In this role you will own the end-to-end reporting, independently source and validate data, and translate business requirements directly into production-ready Power BI dashboards. This role is suited for someone who has already delivered Power BI solutions in production rollouts, works confidently with business stakeholders, and sets the pace rather than waiting for it.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate ambiguous or evolving business and reporting requirements directly into effective Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Own the design, development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of interactive Power BI dashboards.
• Perform data cleaning, transformation, and integration from multiple sources (ETL).
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all reports and dashboards.
• Deliver reports efficiently and at the pace required for a production rollout- with limited oversight.
• Engage directly with business stakeholders and client counterparts to clarify requirements, manage change, and drive decisions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Statistics, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in data analytics / BI roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI (Desktop & Service).
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Good knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
• Experience with data cleaning, transformation, and ETL processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Power BI Certification (PL-300 or equivalent).
• Experience with Python and advanced Excel (Power Pivot, VBA).
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and modern data stacks (Azure Synapse, Snowflake, BigQuery).
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Exposure to telecom, enterprise IT, or large-scale digital transformation programs.
