About the Role:

The Data Analysis team at Factori is responsible for managing data and insights operations. This team works with large datasets and supports customers with data-driven insights solutions. We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst who can collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to data processing, storage, and retrieval strategies to enhance our data capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the product, engineering, and data science teams to understand and leverage our data assets.
• Collaborate with internal analytics and engineering teams to set up data processing pipelines using SQL, Python, Spark, and cloud technologies.
• Develop and optimize strategies for data storage, integration, and retrieval for large-scale data applications.
• Research alternative data sources and assess their integration within Factori existing data ecosystem.

What we are looking for :

Skills :

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in SQL with the ability to write complex queries.
• Strong Python skills (Pandas, NumPy, etc.,).
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities for problem-solving.
• Strong communication skillsable to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
• Self-starter with the ability to take independent action and ownership of tasks.

Good to have:

• Familiarity with Google/AWS/Azure Cloud & Apache Spark.
• Familiarity with Air Flow.
• Familiarity with Shell scripting
• Knowledge of Excel and ETL tools.

Experience :

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Big Data.
