About the role

You will own the inventory and product-lifecycle analytics behind our discontinuation, profitability and portfolio decisions across a range of more than 2,000 products — and validate the demand and inventory models the business plans against.

What you'll do

- Own product lifecycle analysis, discontinuation signals and portfolio health scoring across the range.

- Build and maintain product and category profitability analysis, including long-tail economics — production efficiency against storage cost.

- Validate our demand, forecast and inventory models, measure forecast accuracy, and support scenario planning.

- Analyse freight and storage costs where they drive lifecycle and margin decisions.

- Turn analysis into recommendations for planning and leadership, and build the dashboards that keep them current.

What we're looking for

- 5+ years in analytics with genuine retail, e-commerce or inventory domain experience. General business or marketing analytics is not a fit for this role.

- Strong SQL and hands-on BigQuery; Power BI for delivery; Python an advantage.

- Modelling and model-validation ability — you can measure forecast accuracy and explain what is driving it.

- Lifecycle, profitability and portfolio analytics, and fluency in cover, sell-through and margin.

- Strong data storytelling — you lead with the conclusion, then the evidence.

- Based in the Mumbai region or willing to relocate to Thane.
