Senior Data Analyst – GCP | BigQuery | SQL

Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to support a high-impact client engagement focused on enhancing enterprise data and reporting capabilities. The role will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to enhance data pipelines, and enable actionable insights through scalable data models and visualisations.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in BigQuery, alongside advanced SQL and dashboarding experience using Looker Studio.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to support business reporting and regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring timely delivery of data solutions
• Review existing data pipelines and identify opportunities for optimisation, scalability, and performance improvement
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visual analytics solutions using Looker Studio, including custom and community visualisations
• Translate stakeholder requirements into meaningful insights, KPIs, and visual outputs
• Ensure data quality, consistency, reliability, and documentation across reporting and analytics layers
• Provide technical guidance and best practice recommendations to stakeholders and project teams

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience of BigQuery
• Advanced SQL development and performance tuning skills
• Hands-on experience building dashboards and reporting solutions in Looker Studio
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
• Prior UK Utilities domain experience is a big plus
