Job purpose:

The purpose of the Product Team Senior Data Analyst - Customer Insight is to process and analyze customer usage and feedback data in order to support Product and Sales colleagues with meaningful insights on how our customers are using our products.

The Senior Data Analyst - Customer Insight is a member of the Product team, reporting to the Content and Data Product Manager. Our work supports the Sales teams in their customer renewals and supports the Product team make decisions on products and report on product usage to the Janes Board of Directors. The role requires strong data processing and analytical skills.

How you will contribute at Janes:

Success in the Senior Data Analyst - Customer Insight Role includes:

• Building an automated script to keep Customer-specific usage stats continually updated and accessible to Sales colleagues
• Build a robust process to produce error-free usage stats for our main customer portal
• Produce monthly portal specific usage stats
• Map how customers usage our products using our usage data
• Prepare monthly Board reports for review by the CPO with error-free usage stats and insights.

The essential skills and experience for this role are:

• 8-10 years work experience in data analytical roles
• High Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Ability to handle large, complex data sets
• Curious mindset and ability to extract meaningful insights
• Excellent Excel skills
• Stakeholder management (comfortable liaising with the CPO).
• Excellent PPT skills
• Excellent Tableau and Power BI skills
• High attention to detail
• Fluency in English.
