Group Head of Data & Analytics - Astro Arun Pandit Group

Astro Arun Pandit Group is building a multi-brand digital ecosystem at the intersection of spirituality, astrology, commerce, education, media, and technology.

Our ecosystem includes:

- Astro Arun Pandit astrology content, consultations, reports, and digital experiences

- GemsMantra spiritual and gemstone e-commerce platform

- Horocosmo real-time astrology app and consultation platform

- Occult Gurukul education, courses, and learning platform

- The Pooja House pooja, ritual, and spiritual commerce platform

We are hiring a Group Head of Data & Analytics to build the data intelligence layer for the entire ecosystem.

This is not a reporting-only role.

This is not a dashboard-only role.

We want a sharp, business-minded, highly analytical leader who can turn fragmented data into decision-grade intelligence across growth, marketing, sales, product, operations, finance, retention, and management reviews.

The ideal candidate can connect numbers across brands, identify what is really driving performance, build strong KPI systems, improve data quality, and help founders take faster and better decisions.

What you will own

- Group-wide data and analytics strategy across Astro Arun Pandit, GemsMantra, Horocosmo, Occult Gurukul, and The Pooja House

- KPI architecture, business dashboards, data reporting systems, and executive reviews across brands

- Cross-functional analytics covering marketing, sales, finance, operations, product, retention, and team performance

- Data pipelines, reporting logic, definitions, and governance for decision-grade visibility

- Funnel analysis, cohort analysis, attribution clarity, profitability insights, and performance diagnosis

- Data support for experimentation, forecasting, planning, and resource allocation

- A single source of truth for leadership reporting across the ecosystem

- Hiring and building the analytics and BI function over time

Key responsibilities

1. Group data strategy and business intelligence

- Build the data vision and analytics operating system for the ecosystem

- Define what metrics matter at group, brand, channel, funnel, and function level

- Create a common KPI language across management so decisions are aligned

- Standardize reporting structures for weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews

- Ensure data supports business action, not just reporting

2. Executive dashboards and decision systems

- Build founder-level and leadership dashboards for revenue, CAC, LTV, margins, retention, conversion, inventory, product performance, team productivity, and platform health

- Translate raw data into sharp business insights, risks, trends, and priorities

- Design reporting systems that clearly show what is growing, what is leaking, and what needs intervention

- Support leadership with analysis for planning, target setting, and strategic reviews

3. Marketing, growth, and funnel analytics

- Analyze acquisition, conversion, retention, and lifecycle performance across brands

- Build clarity on attribution, channel quality, CAC efficiency, ROAS quality, and contribution margin

- Diagnose funnel leaks across e-commerce, app, consultation, course, and report businesses

- Support test design, campaign analysis, cohort tracking, and growth experimentation

- Work closely with marketing and growth teams to improve decision quality

4. Product, app, and behavior analytics

- Build analytics around user journeys, activation, engagement, retention, monetization, and churn

- Support product teams with event tracking, funnel analysis, feature adoption, and behavioral segmentation

- Create visibility into app and web performance, user cohorts, session quality, and monetization patterns

- Help teams identify which product changes actually move business outcomes

5. Finance, operations, and business performance analytics

- Support leadership with profitability views, brand-level economics, SKU performance, inventory logic, refund and return analysis, team efficiency, and business forecasting

- Build systems that connect finance, operations, marketing, and sales data for smarter decisions

- Highlight business risks such as leakage, cost inefficiency, poor inventory turns, weak retention, or bad channel quality

- Improve visibility into operational health and business efficiency across brands

6. Data quality, governance, and infrastructure

- Improve data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across platforms, tools, and business teams

- Define metric logic, reporting definitions, and validation processes

- Work with tech, product, marketing, and finance teams to fix broken tracking, inconsistent reporting, and fragmented sources

- Help build strong data foundations across dashboards, ETL pipelines, attribution systems, and BI tools

7. Team building and cross-functional leadership

- Build and lead the analytics function over time across BI, product analytics, growth analytics, and reporting

- Partner closely with founders, finance, marketing, operations, product, and tech

- Drive a culture of analytical thinking, metric discipline, and truth-seeking

- Raise the bar on data-driven decision making across the ecosystem

What we need

- 8 to 15+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, data strategy, or decision support roles

- Proven experience working across multiple business functions such as marketing, product, finance, operations, and leadership reporting

- Strong background in consumer internet, D2C, e-commerce, apps, marketplaces, SaaS, education, or service businesses

- Strong ability to turn raw data into business insights, priorities, and decision frameworks

- Deep understanding of KPI design, funnel analysis, cohort analysis, attribution, forecasting, and performance reporting

- Experience with BI tools, dashboards, SQL, spreadsheets, data models, and modern analytics workflows

- Strong business thinking with the ability to connect numbers to action

- Experience working directly with senior leadership, founders, or business heads

- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, high-accountability environment

Preferred

- Experience in multi-brand or multi-business environments

- Experience building founder dashboards, WBR/MBR systems, and executive reporting frameworks

- Exposure to product analytics, app analytics, and event tracking systems

- Experience with attribution challenges across paid, organic, app, and commerce journeys

- Experience working with data warehouses, ETL systems, and reporting automation

- Strong understanding of experimentation, forecasting, and resource allocation models

- Exposure to finance-linked analytics, inventory analytics, or profitability analysis

- Experience building analytics teams or functions from scratch
