Senior Data Analyst

India (Remote)

Position: Data Analyst

Job Description:

- Advanced proficiency in SQL (Google SQL preferred)

- Strong data analysis and analytical abilities

- Experience with Cloud platforms, particularly infrastructure/capacity planning

- Familiarity with dashboard building tools (internal dashboards, Looker, etc.)

- Proficient in Google Sheets and Google Apps Script for automation

- Ability to develop and automate spreadsheets to extract insights and support decision-making

- Basic knowledge of Java and ability to apply it within spreadsheet contexts

- Experience with ticketing/bug tracking systems (e.g., Google uses Buganizer)

- Ability to work with and analyze large data sets, identify data quality issues, and resolve inconsistencies

- Understanding of cloud concepts such as VMs, compute capacity, and cloud product fundamentals

- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

- Proactive in identifying and resolving issues, with a sense of ownership over assigned problems

- Willingness and ability to ask questions to deepen understanding and resolve roadblocks

- Quick learner, adaptable to new tools and rapidly changing requirements

- Effective communicator; can document processes (e.g., playbooks, dashboard instructions)

- Team player with a collaborative attitude; comfortable working in a globally distributed, remote team

- Demonstrates curiosity and a desire to take initiative, rather than only following explicit instructions

- Eager to learn and contribute to innovative, high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment

- Previous Google experience is preferred if they can provide positive references
