Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Supply Chain Management and Advanced Warehouse Management. The role involves solution design, functional configuration, customer engagement, integrations, testing, troubleshooting, documentation and production support within a managed-services or consulting environment

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirement-gathering workshops, business-process discussions, fit-gap analysis and functional solution design for D365 F&O Supply Chain Management and Advanced Warehouse Management.
• Configure and support inbound, outbound and internal warehouse processes, including receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing, staging, loading, cycle counting, inventory movements and returns.
• Configure warehouse-management components such as location directives, work templates, wave templates, mobile-device menus, work pools and replenishment strategies.
• Design and support supply-chain processes covering procurement, inventory management, purchase orders, sales-order fulfilment, transfer orders and warehouse operations.
• Configure and support Landed Cost processes, including voyages, goods in transit, cost estimates, cost allocation, accruals and inbound freight visibility.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into scalable D365 F&O functional configurations and process improvements.
• Review D365 F&O licensing requirements and design or customise security roles, duties and privileges based on business-access requirements.
• Support integrations, data migration and import/export activities using data entities and the Data Management Framework.
• Work with technical teams to investigate integration failures, data issues, batch-processing errors and other cross-system dependencies.
• Prepare functional design documents, configuration documents, process flows, test scripts, training materials and support documentation.
• Plan and support unit testing, system-integration testing, regression testing, user-acceptance testing, deployment validation and post-production support.
• Troubleshoot complex customer and production issues, perform root-cause analysis and coordinate permanent resolutions.
• Collaborate with business users, developers, architects, project managers, QA teams and other stakeholders across locations and time zones.
• Provide functional guidance, user training, knowledge transfer and recommendations for process or system improvements.
• Support project planning, effort estimation, timeline tracking, status reporting and customer coordination.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• Eight or more years of relevant ERP or Microsoft Dynamics consulting experience.
• At least six years of hands-on functional experience in D365 Finance & Operations, Supply Chain Management and Advanced Warehouse Management
• Strong knowledge of inbound and outbound warehouse processes, location directives, work templates, wave processing, mobile-device processes, replenishment, picking, packing, loading and cycle counting.
• Hands-on functional experience with procurement, inventory management, sales-order fulfilment, transfer orders and warehouse operations.
• Practical experience configuring and supporting the D365 F&O Landed Cost module.
• Good understanding of D365 F&O licensing, security architecture and segregation-of-duties requirements.
• Proven ability to design and customise D365 F&O security roles, duties and privileges.
• Experience supporting integrations, data entities and Data Management Framework activities.
• Experience conducting fit-gap analysis, functional design, configuration, testing, deployment and production support.
• Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and problem-resolution capabilities.
• Strong functional documentation, customer communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience working in a managed-services or consulting environment.
• Availability for the Australian or New Zealand shift and two office-visit days per month.

Good to Have

• Hands-on experience with Electronic Reporting.
• Functional knowledge of the Production Control module.
• Experience managing D365 environments through Power Platform Admin Center or Lifecycle Services, including backups, restores and environment administration.
• Experience supporting global customers across different business functions and time zones.
• Basic project-management experience covering timelines, risks, effort estimation and customer coordination.
• Experience with data migration, system integrations and cutover activities.
• Relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management or Finance & Operations certifications.
• Experience leading functional workstreams and mentoring junior consultants.

Candidate Expectations

• Candidates must be comfortable with the stated shift, remote-work arrangement and location requirements.
• Candidates must be available to attend a Tatwa office for two days each month for meetings and collaboration.
• The candidate should be confident handling complex customer scenarios and working independently in a consulting or managed-services environment.
