This role sits at the intersection of customer strategy, market access consulting, and business development within a highly specialized life sciences environment. You will support the development of high-quality proposals, account strategies, and commercial solutions that help bring innovative therapies closer to patients. The position involves close collaboration with senior leaders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to shape compelling, data-driven client offerings. You will contribute to research, competitive intelligence, and solution design that differentiates services in a complex and competitive market. Accountabilities
- Support the development of proposals, solution strategies, budgets, and client-facing materials for market access and commercialization engagements.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and service line leaders to design competitive, client-specific, and value-driven solutions.
- Conduct desk research and leverage industry databases to develop insights on sponsors, assets, pipelines, and market trends.
- Assist in shaping account strategies and expanding client relationships through data-driven and consultative approaches.
- Contribute to proposal writing, bid defense preparation, and creation of clear, compelling value propositions.
- Prepare budgets and work breakdown structures (WBS) in coordination with senior stakeholders, operations, and finance teams.
- Track new business opportunities, awards, and pipeline activity, ensuring accuracy and timely updates in internal systems.
- Support early client engagement discussions by developing content and identifying appropriate subject matter expertise.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to continuously refine solutions and improve commercial offerings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred in life sciences, business, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in market access, life sciences consulting, CRO, or service/strategy consulting environments.
- Strong understanding of drug development lifecycle and commercialization concepts (bench to patient preferred).
- Experience in proposal development, business development, or solution strategy roles.
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and proposal or business documentation tools.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work in matrixed, cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a structured and solution-oriented mindset.
