Job Overview

The Senior Creative Strategist is responsible for shaping and driving the overall creative vision across campaigns, brands, and content initiatives. This role focuses on developing insight-led creative strategies that translate business objectives into compelling narratives and impactful ideas. Working closely with brand, marketing, content, and production teams, the Senior Creative Strategist ensures conceptual clarity, strategic alignment, and brand consistency across all touchpoints.

This position involves leading creative ideation, guiding storytelling frameworks, evaluating creative outputs against strategy, and mentoring junior strategists and creatives. The role requires a strong balance of analytical thinking, cultural awareness, creative direction, and collaboration to deliver campaigns that resonate with target audiences and drive measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop end-to-end creative strategies aligned with brand goals, audience insights, and campaign objectives.
  • Lead concept development, messaging frameworks, and storytelling direction across platforms and formats, with a strong focus on social-first and video-led narratives.
  • Define social media and video content strategies, including short-form, long-form, and platform-specific formats (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Collaborate with marketing, content, design, and production teams to translate strategy into effective creative execution across digital and social channels.
  • Guide the strategic direction of video content, ensuring clarity of narrative, pacing, hooks, and audience retention.
  • Review creative outputs and provide strategic feedback to ensure alignment with brand voice, tone, campaign intent, and platform best practices.
  • Drive creative brainstorming sessions, pitch ideas, and guide teams from concept to launch across social, video, and integrated campaigns.
  • Ensure consistency across campaigns while adapting strategies for different platforms, audiences, formats, and content consumption behaviors.
  • Analyze campaign performance, social metrics, audience behavior, and market trends to refine and optimize creative, social, and video strategies.
  • Mentor junior strategists and creatives, fostering strategic thinking, platform awareness, and creative excellence.
  • Act as a strategic partner in client or internal stakeholder discussions, presenting ideas, content approaches, and strategic rationale clearly.
  • Stay updated on cultural trends, platform algorithms, evolving video formats, consumer behavior, and emerging social media opportunities.
