Creative Director – Art (Mumbai)
Experience: 10–12 years
What this role is about:
At Publicis India, we believe in ideas that move people. As a Creative Director – Art, you'll lead the visual thinking on brands, shaping work that's not just beautiful, but meaningful and effective.
You'll partner with Copy, Strategy, and Business teams to create campaigns that live across platforms — from big brand films to sharp social, from culture-first ideas to everyday storytelling.
What you'll do:
- Lead with ideas, craft with purpose – Drive strong visual thinking across campaigns, ensuring every piece of work has clarity, impact, and craft
- Own the look & feel of brands – Build and evolve visual identities that are distinctive and consistent
- Create integrated work – Think beyond formats — film, digital, social, print, content — and make it all work together
- Collaborate deeply – Work closely with Copy, Planners, and Account teams to bring ideas to life
- Present with conviction – Take work to clients with clarity and confidence, and shape it through feedback
- Mentor talent – Guide and grow a team of Art Directors and Designers
- Stay culturally sharp – Bring in references, trends, and insights that keep the work fresh and relevant
What we're looking for:
- 10–12 years in a creative/art role within an advertising agency
- A portfolio full of ideas, not just layouts — work that has impact, not just aesthetics
- Strong understanding of design, typography, storytelling, and visual systems
- Experience leading campaigns end-to-end
- Someone who can balance big thinking with sharp execution
- A collaborator who can push the work, not just manage it
- Comfort with fast-paced, high-expectation environments
Bonus if you bring:
- Award-winning work (national/international)
- Experience across categories and platforms
- Strong film/digital storytelling sensibility
