Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Ahmedabad for a Senior Counsellor Student Visa. The Senior Counsellor will assist students with guidance related to international educational opportunities and student visa processes. Responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counselling sessions, providing guidance on university applications, an understanding of visa filing requirements, assisting with the preparation of supporting documents, and maintaining strong relationships with students and stakeholders for effective service outcomes. The role also involves coordinating training sessions and staying updated on immigration and visa regulations.
Qualifications
- Counselling and Advising Skills: Experience in student counselling, visa guidance, and addressing student queries effectively.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in English, and the ability to build rapport with diverse clients and stakeholders.
- Administrative and Organisational Skills: Ability to handle documentation, manage student applications, and ensure compliance with visa requirements.
- Knowledge of Visa and Immigration Processes: Familiarity with student visa policies and international university partnerships is advantageous.
- Additional Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; prior experience in the foreign education/visa consultancy sector is preferred.
