Job Description:
The Estimator E&I / E&I Calculator is responsible for preparing accurate cost calculations for electrical and instrumentation works within industrial projects. This role combines technical understanding, cost awareness, and a structured working style. The estimator translates technical input into reliable cost estimates, quotations, material requirements, and labor calculations, ensuring that projects are prepared correctly and can be offered in a technically and commercially sound manner.
- Minimum 5+ yearsof relevant experience in a technical estimation, costing, or engineering role within electrical and instrumentation disciplines
- Proven experience in preparing cost calculations, quotations, and material take-offs Experience within industrial environments, utilities, installation technology, or project-based technical services
- Experience in readingand interpreting technical drawings, schematics, specifications, and scope documents
- Experience in requesting and comparing quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
- Experience in project preparation and coordination with engineering, execution, and project management teams
- Preferably familiar with applicable standards, safety requirements, and practical project execution conditions
Education:
Bachelor/Master with electrical engineering, industrial automation, instrumentation, controlengineering or a comparable technical discipline

Responsibilities:
As a Cost Engineer you are part of a team working in an informal and solution-oriented environment. You will:
- Prepare cost estimates for E&I-related industrial projects
- Determine required materials, components, labor hours, and potential subcontracting scope
- Prepare customer quotations basedon technical input,site information, scopedocuments, or engineering documentation
- Analyze inquiries, drawings, schematics, and technical specifications
- Request, compare, and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
- Coordinate with engineering, projectmanagement, purchasing, and execution teamsregarding technical and commercial feasibility
- Identify risks, deviations, uncertainties, and optimization opportunities in requests and scope
- Contribute to proper project preparation and smooth handover to execution teams
- Consider safety, feasibility, standards, and project risks while preparing estimates
- Support technical documentation, work preparation, or quotation substantiation when needed
