Job Description
The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) team offers the opportunity to build and operate a suite of massive-scale, coordinated cloud services in a broadly distributed, multi-tenant environment. OCI delivers cloud products that support customers tackling some of the world's most complex and business-critical challenges.
OCI Infrastructure Delivery Engineering is a growing organization responsible for building services and tools that accelerate how OCI expands its compute and network capacity. Our platform supports the end-to-end lifecycle of data centers and their physical assets-from planning and design, through delivery and operation, to eventual decommissioning. It enables OCI to scale efficiently in existing regions and launch new regions while meeting the high-capacity demands of large and hyperscale customers.
We are looking for a talented and passionate Senior Software Development Engineer to help design, build, and operate this foundational platform. You will work on highly available, scalable services that manage physical assets throughout their lifecycle. This is a greenfield environment with significant autonomy to innovate, while integrating with OCI systems through established service contracts.
You will be a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving challenging distributed-systems problems, values simplicity and customer impact, and takes ownership of quality in production. You will collaborate closely with engineers and partner teams to deliver reliable services that help OCI continue to grow its global footprint.
