Role Overview

As a Senior Copywriter Performance Marketing at Team Pumpkin, you will play a critical role in driving high-conversion, data-driven communication across digital platforms. This role goes beyond storytellingyou will craft performance-focused copy that directly impacts campaign results, customer acquisition, and ROI.

You will lead the development of compelling ad copies, landing page content, and conversion-oriented messaging, while aligning with brand voice and business objectives. Working closely with performance marketers, designers, and strategists, you will ensure every word is optimized for engagement, clicks, and conversions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high-performing ad copies for platforms such as Meta, Google, LinkedIn, and other digital channels
  • Write conversion-focused content for landing pages, performance campaigns, emailers, push notifications, and app journeys
  • Interpret campaign data and insights to continuously optimize copy for better CTR, CPA, and ROI
  • Collaborate with performance marketing teams to align messaging with targeting, funnels, and campaign objectives
  • A/B test copy variations and iterate based on performance metrics
  • Ensure consistency in brand voice while adapting tone for different audience segments and platforms
  • Stay updated with digital trends, platform updates, and consumer behavior patterns
  • Work closely with designers to ensure copy and visuals work cohesively for maximum impact
  • Manage multiple campaigns simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Mentor junior writers and provide guidance on performance-focused copywriting
  • Contribute to building best practices and frameworks for performance marketing content

Required Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of performance marketing principles and digital advertising ecosystems
  • Proven ability to write clear, concise, and conversion-driven copy
  • Experience with A/B testing and performance optimization of content
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Experience

  • 34 years of experience in copywriting with a focus on performance marketing or digital advertising
  • Prior experience in advertising agencies or performance-driven brands
  • Hands-on experience creating copy for paid campaigns and digital funnels

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Advertising, Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with tools like Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, analytics platforms, and A/B testing tools
  • Experience in writing for e-commerce, D2C, or lead generation campaigns
  • Strong portfolio showcasing high-performing ad campaigns and measurable results
