Senior Copywriter

At Please See//, words aren't just copy, they're entry points into worlds. They carry meaning, rhythm, memory, and identity. We're looking for a Senior Copywriter who can help us give brands not just something to say, but a way to sound alive, across platforms, moments, and moods.

This is more than just a writing role. You'll help shape brand voices, guide narratives, and work alongside strategists, designers, and filmmakers to build brands that people want to follow, feel, and belong to.

What You'll Do

• Write everything from brand manifestos and tone-of-voice guides to campaigns, social captions, packaging lines, and film scripts
• Shape and evolve distinctive brand voices, and carry them across touchpoints without losing the nuance
• Translate strategy into storytelling, bringing insight and instinct into every line
• Work closely with art directors, motion designers, and creative leads to craft integrated ideas
• Contribute to naming, messaging frameworks, product storytelling, and branded content
• Present your thinking with clarity, whether in a room full of creatives or across from a client
• Mentor junior writers and support them with clear, thoughtful feedback
• Stay sensitive to culture - and know when to speak with edge, restraint, humour, or softness

What we are looking for

• 5+ years of writing experience in branding, digital, advertising, or content-driven studios
• You've written for multiple mediums, web, video, packaging, campaigns, social, pitch decks, IRL spaces
• You understand the architecture of a brand — and how to find the voice that fits
• You don't just write lines, you think in stories, you design in tone
• You're collaborative, curious, detail-obsessed - and you take your craft seriously, not your ego
• Bonus: experience working with creative strategists, filmmakers, or cross-cultural brands
