Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Copywriter, Content & Editorial to join our in-house creative team. This role combines creative copywriting with editorial ownership, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building campaigns as much as creating high-quality content at scale. You will work closely with designers, marketers, SEO specialists, product teams, and business stakeholders to craft compelling brand narratives, customer communications, website content, and performance-driven marketing assets. Beyond writing, you will help shape HomeLane's editorial standards, content strategy, and brand voice across every touchpoint.

Key Responsibilities

Creative & Brand Copywriting

  • Write compelling copy for digital performance campaigns across Meta, Google, YouTube, and other channels.
  • Develop copy for website banners, landing pages, emailers, WhatsApp campaigns, and social media content.
  • Conceptualize and write brand campaigns, video scripts, launch campaigns, and promotional communications.
  • Create copy for offline marketing materials including standees, brochures, store branding, product communication, and OOH campaigns. Partner with designers and marketers to translate business objectives into effective creative communication.
  • Review and refine copy across teams to ensure consistency in brand voice and messaging.

Editorial & Content Management

  • Own and manage website and landing page content, including new page creation, updates, optimization, and quality control.
  • Lead content production for blogs, articles, guides, customer stories, and thought leadership content.
  • Develop content themes and editorial calendars based on consumer insights, search trends, and business priorities.
  • Manage FAQ and help-centre content, ensuring accuracy, clarity, SEO optimization, and brand consistency.
  • Convert customer journeys, project stories, and video testimonials into engaging editorial content.
  • Support content creation for social media, newsletters, and community engagement initiatives.

Customer Communication & Lifecycle Content

  • Create and optimize customer-facing communications across the booking, design, manufacturing, and delivery journey.
  • Write and manage email, WhatsApp, app, and service communications that improve customer experience and engagement.
  • Collaborate with product and customer experience teams to simplify complex information into clear, user-friendly messaging.

Editorial Excellence & Governance

  • Maintain and evolve HomeLane's editorial guidelines, tone of voice, and content standards. Ensure all content meets high standards of quality, accuracy, readability, and brand consistency.
  • Collaborate with SEO, product, marketing, and business teams to develop content that drives both engagement and business outcomes.
  • Manage freelance writers, content contributors, and agency partners whenever required.
  • Establish efficient content workflows, briefing processes, and review systems to improve speed and quality of output.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in copywriting, content strategy, editorial, or content marketing roles, preferably within a creative agency, publisher, digital-first company, or in-house brand team.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence across brand campaigns, digital marketing, website content, long-form editorial content, and storytelling.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Strong understanding of content strategy, consumer behavior, storytelling, and SEO fundamentals.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with design, marketing, product, and business teams.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for crafting meaningful consumer experiences through words.
