Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Content Writer - SEO & Web role based in Ahmedabad. The Content Writer will be responsible for creating web content, developing content strategies, conducting research, writing, proofreading, and optimizing content for search engines. The role involves collaborating with marketing teams to ensure content aligns with digital marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write clear, engaging, and SEO-friendly content for websites, blogs, landing pages, and social media
- Conduct keyword research and apply SEO best practices (meta tags, internal linking, etc.)
- Collaborate with design, marketing, and development teams to align content with brand strategy
- Optimize existing web content for improved search rankings and readability
- Stay updated on SEO trends, Google algorithm changes, and content performance metrics
- Use CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) to publish and update content
- Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and brand tone
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience & Proficiency in Web Content Writing, Writing, and Proofreading skills
- Experience in developing Content Strategies and conducting Research
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
