Education
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, Communications, or a related field.
- Additional certifications or training in Content Writing, Digital Marketing, or SEO will be an advantage.
- A strong writing portfolio and proven content experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and publish relevant, trending news daily with accuracy and speed.
- Plan website content and write conversion-focused copy aligned with UI/UX and SEO best practices.
- Write approximately 3,000 words per working day across website landing pages, blogs, articles, news, business listings, and social media
- Support internal teams with social media content for in-house and client projects.
- Plan and manage social media calendars for client projects, including monthly themes, post ideas, and content flow.
- Develop ad strategies and write platform-appropriate copy for social media campaigns.
- Coordinate with design teams to brief, review, and align graphics with content and brand guidelines.
- Create SEO-friendly blog posts and articles aligned with search intent, keywords, and readability.
- Track content performance and optimize based on engagement, feedback, and basic metrics.
- Deliver original, plagiarism-free, fully human-written content in line with the brand voice.
- Meet deadlines consistently and revise content based on internal/client feedback.
- Stay up to date on SEO trends, content formats, and digital publishing standards.
