About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Content Writer t on behalf of one of our key clients — an embedded, long-term placement that calls for a strong content professional with strategic thinking, sharp writing, and a proven portfolio.

This is an individual contributor role centred around content strategy, brand storytelling, and campaign execution across digital, social, and organisational communication formats. The role spans both long-form and short-form content and requires someone comfortable working across multiple content verticals — including but not limited to employer branding, HR communications, and people-focused narratives.

While a background or interest in Employer Branding and HR Communications is a strong advantage, we are equally open to candidates who bring depth in content strategy, B2B content, or digital brand communication and are willing to grow into the EB and people-comms space.

You will be embedded within the client's team at their Viman Nagar, Pune office, working as a dedicated content partner with full support from the agency in terms of tools, assets, and resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and own content strategies for brand campaigns across digital, social media, and organisational communication channels.
  • Create EVP narratives, messaging frameworks, campaign directions, and content architectures for varied briefs.
  • Write high-quality long-form content — thought leadership articles, blogs, case studies, white papers, scripts, and communication decks.
  • Produce platform-native short-form content — LinkedIn posts, social copies, micro-campaigns, captions, and carousel content.
  • Support employer branding and HR communication initiatives including culture campaigns, leadership messaging, employee engagement content, and internal communication where required.
  • Collaborate directly with the client's HR, Talent Acquisition, Marketing, and Communications teams to deliver content aligned with business priorities.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice across all internal and external content touchpoints.
  • Independently manage content calendars, timelines, feedback cycles, and delivery schedules.
  • Work alongside design and video teams to bring content directions to life as complete deliverables.
  • Proactively bring forward content ideas, identify gaps, and contribute to the broader content roadmap.

What We're Looking For

  • 5–7 years of experience in content writing, content strategy, digital marketing, or brand communications.
  • Strong, versatile writing across long-form and short-form formats — with a clear editorial voice and attention to structure.
  • Experience working on B2B content, corporate communications, or multi-industry accounts is preferred.
  • Exposure to or genuine interest in Employer Branding, HR communications, or people-focused content is a significant plus — but not a dealbreaker.
  • Ability to independently convert briefs into well-structured, strategic content directions.
  • Comfortable working in a client-facing environment — managing stakeholder communication, presentations, and feedback loops.
  • Agency experience or prior experience working in embedded/client-side roles is preferred.
  • Self-directed, organised, and accountable — someone who takes full ownership of their work without needing close supervision.

Portfolio Requirement

A portfolio is mandatory for consideration. Applications submitted without a portfolio will not be reviewed. The portfolio should reflect the depth and range of your content work — across formats, industries, or communication types. Work samples in EB, internal comms, or HR content are a bonus but not the only criterion.

Education

Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
